Presenter: Milan Heninger, the Head of Commissioning at Fervo Energy

This presentation will discuss the technology breakthroughs that have led to bringing the Worlds first Enhanced Geothermal System (EGS) to the market. It will provide attendees and overview of the technology, and its place in the energy mix for large campus electrical power needs, and touch on some of the industries opportunities to expand in the West.

Milan Heninger

Milan Heninger is the Head of Commissioning at Fervo Energy, where he leads the Commissioning of new geothermal projects. He brings more than 15 years of experience in commissioning, maintenance, reliability, and operations across utility scale geothermal, wind, solar, and battery energy storage power plants. Prior to joining Fervo, Milan spent nearly a decade leading maintenance, reliability and commissioning programs across more than 6 GW of utility-scale renewable energy projects in North America and supporting teams globally. He is an internationally recognized expert and speaker on project execution, startup and commissioning, operational readiness, asset reliability, and building high-performing technical organizations.

Milan holds degrees from the University of Nevada in Criminal Justice, Mechanical Engineering, an MBA, and has earned Graduate certificates in Renewable Energy Policy as well. He is a Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP), a Prosci Certified Change Management Practitioner, and is on the Northern California Chapter Board of Directors for the Society of Maintenance and Reliability Professionals.
